Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 9 May 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you can and cannot do on the attune platform. It applies to clients, Therapists, and any other user of attune-therapeutics.uk.

2. Things you must not do

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Send harassing, threatening, abusive, hateful, or sexually explicit content to any other user
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or status
  • Attempt to access another user’s account or data
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or attempt to extract the attune Index logic or any other proprietary technology
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any code intended to harm the Platform or other users
  • Use the Platform to advertise, solicit, or promote unrelated products or services
  • Use the Platform to share content that infringes another person’s intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Use the Platform in any way that disrupts service for other users (e.g. excessive automated requests)

3. Content moderation

Messages between clients and Therapists are private but subject to platform-level moderation in limited circumstances:

  • Automated risk-detection may surface concerning content (e.g. references to imminent self-harm) for review, in line with our safeguarding posture.
  • Reports submitted by users will be reviewed by attune support.
  • Content found to breach this Policy may be removed, and the user account may be suspended or terminated.

Decisions on suspension or termination are taken by attune; any clinical safeguarding decision rests with the practising Therapist.

4. Reporting violations

If you believe another user is breaching this Policy, please report it via the in-app report function or by emailing [email protected]. Reports are handled in line with our Complaints Policy.

5. Consequences

Breach of this Policy may result in warnings, content removal, account suspension, or termination, depending on severity. Serious breaches may be reported to law enforcement or to the Therapist’s professional body.
