Cookie Policy

Last updated: 9 May 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage.

2. Why we use cookies

  • Strictly necessary- to operate the Platform: keep you signed in, maintain sessions, process payments. These cannot be switched off because the Platform won’t function without them.
  • Functional- to remember preferences such as your assessment progress so a refresh doesn’t lose your place.
  • Analytics - to understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. EU-hosted, anonymised IP.

We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We do not run Google Ads, Meta Pixel, or any other adtech.

3. Cookies we use

Strictly necessary

  • better-auth.session_token - authentication. Lifetime: 30 days.
  • __Host-csrf - cross-site request forgery protection. Lifetime: session.
  • __stripe_* - payment processing (set by Stripe.com on the checkout iframe). Lifetime: as set by Stripe.

Functional

  • attune_assessment_progress - saves your matching assessment partway through. Lifetime: 30 days.

Analytics

  • ph_* - PostHog. EU-hosted (Frankfurt), anonymised IP, no cross-site tracking. Lifetime: 1 year.

4. Your choices

You can clear cookies in your browser at any time. Doing so will sign you out of your account and reset your assessment progress. You can also block analytics cookies via your browser’s tracking-prevention settings; this won’t affect how the Platform works for you.

5. Third parties

Some cookies are set by third parties we work with (Stripe for payment, PostHog for analytics). The full list of sub-processors is published at /legal/sub-processors. We require all third parties to comply with UK GDPR and PECR.

6. Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies changes. The current version is always available at attune-therapeutics.uk/legal/cookies.
